About Us

The hand-carved picture frames of Northgate Fine Art and Framing have long been considered fine artworks in their own right and we supply clients across the UK, Italy, France and the United States, with dealers in both contemporary art and fine antique art featuring amongst our clients. We are happy to accept commissions for multiple frames, which we have frequently undertaken, including provision of frames for exhibitions of professional artists.

We have been designing and hand-carving frames for many years and hold the view that the frame should be an artwork in it’s own right, and only then can it set off the item being framed to its greatest potential. 

As we carve our own frames, and don’t rely on any third parties we are free to set our prices to be as reasonable as possible, with our prices starting at just £69. On the home page of this website you will see a small selection of our frames that you may wish to commission, or alternatively you may wish to contact us with your own design ideas. 

We deliver frames nationally and internationally, so wherever you are based, we can get your new frame to you, using trusted couriers.
